Nikta Mohammadi is a multidisciplinary artist and producer, working across moving image, photography, sound and painting. Mohammadi’s practice is rooted in her dreams and the splendour in the mundane details of day-to-day life. She is interested in exploring themes of migration and intimacy and has a playful approach to how language is constructed and used in her work.
Jida Akil is a Syrian/Lebanese set & costume designer working in theatre and dance. Coming from a multi-disciplinary art background, she is keen to explore multimedia design for devised performances and new writing in collaborative environments. Akil is particularly committed to working on projects with underrepresented groups.
