Jamila Boughelaf is a dancer, producer and visual artist of Algerian and Italian origin. She is the co-founder of of Bahatha Theatre, a dance-theatre group exploring the multi-faceted nature of Algerian Identity and one of the founding members of Hawiyya Dance Company, a culturally diverse all-women’s collective who explore identity, culture and resistance through dance.
